Hello Everyone,
As you may be aware, today marks the first day of the powerful Sacred Heart novena, a nine day prayer prompting us to reflect on this beautiful devotion and entrust ourselves more completely to the passionate and transformative love of Jesus Christ. The U.S. bishops have invited each of us to pray this novena alongside them, which will lead up to the consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the Solemnity, June 12th. See the links below for guidance on how to participate in this consecration and pray this novena.
Additionally, we invite you to join us for a special Holy Hour, Mass, and Reception in honor of this Solemnity and Consecration. The evening will begin at 6 PM, and all are welcome! As this event will be potluck style, we do ask that when you attend you bring something for our table to share. The signup can be found below. Please direct any questions to Charles Miller at Charles.Miller@kofc.org.
Thank you, and may abundant graces from our Lord's Sacred Heart pour out upon our nation and our world this Solemnity!
In Christ through Mary,
The Eastside Catholic Staff
