Becoming More Intentional About Prayer
October is the Month of the Holy Rosary and a beautiful opportunity to renew our prayer lives. Consider establishing one simple practice this month: pray daily, pray a decade or a full Rosary, spend a few quiet moments with Scripture, or use the Hallow app for guided prayer.
You can also join our Eastside Catholics community on Hallow to pray with our parish family, share prayer intentions, and pray for the intentions of others.
Small, intentional practices can help prayer become not simply something we do, but part of how we live.
Living Gratefully
Living Gratefully is a six-week journey centered on prayer, gratitude, trust, and generous response.
Last week, we began by recognizing the gift.
This week, begin with prayer.
Take a Living Gratefully prayer card after Mass this weekend. Keep it somewhere you will see it—in your Bible, beside your bed, or near your morning cup of coffee—and use it each morning and evening this week.
As we become more intentional about prayer, may we become more attentive to God’s presence, more grateful for His gifts, and more generous in the way we respond.
This week’s invitation:
Take a prayer card home and use it each morning and evening this week.
Prayer cards are located in this weekend bulletin. Extra cards are available in the back of church.
Are you homebound? Respond to this message, and we'll gladdy mail you a prayer card.
